Key Grace Tabernacle Ministries
Outreach Ministry

There is no better time than now to cry out for lost souls.  God does not want any to be lost; we can cry out to God even as we draw closer and closer to HIM! There is not other way.  (Acts 4:12)

Outreach is every believer's responsibility. Our mission for Local Outreach is to instruct and equip Grace community church members in the obedient pursuit of the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ to His disciples (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8).  Jesus has challenged us through the Great Commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves.

Our goal is to provide opportunities for the members of Grace to extend the love of Christ to those incarcerated, in nursing homes, and those not able to come to church. Our goal is to reach the whole world with the whole gospel.  We believe that fulfilling His commandment is crucial to our walk with the Lord and bringing encouragement and hope to the people we serve.

Worship Ministry
The Adult Choir at Grace Tabernacle plays an important role in leading the congregation in worship.
We have a diverse group of volunteer singers who play an important role in every church service, ministering and preparing the hearts of the congregation for the preaching of God's word.  In addition to their weekly ministry, the adult choir accompanies the church on ministerial engagements (invitations), Outreach events and special church functions throughout the year. The adult choir normally meets every Thursday at 7:30 pm for rehearsal unless otherwise directed.

We love to praise Him!  Do you want to praise His name? These are a few of the singers and, we do not take their singing lightly.  Sing for the glory of God, ladies, and magnify HIM in your own way as you minister to the community (congregation).  Missing pictures: Lisa and Hermione.

The musicians help to bring it all together in the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace.

Praise and Mime Ministry
This ministry is under the leadership of Sister Hermoine Patrick.  Hermione is also the lead for the Youth Sunday School Department.  She is a well qualified teacher who has not only completed Search for Truth but also Rick Warren's 12 Methods of Bible Study.

Grace Tabernacle Praise Dance Ministry was created for the purpose of ministering to the body of Christ through praise, mime and dance. Our mission is to encourage and uplift God’s people while conveying His message through dance. Through praise dancing, the words of songs, inspired by God’s Word, come to life and allow the hearers to experience the beauty of God’s presence.
"Let them praise his name in the name: let them sing praises unto him w
ith the timbrel and harp (Psalm 149:3)
The praise dance and mime ministry minister meet at least once a month.

Preparing our children for praise and mime dancing is just one thing Sis Hermione has a passion to do.

Come on out and join us in and be a part of our fellowships.

Deacons Ministry
The Deacons Ministry serves the congregation in all areas (for example, death in the family, illness, and benevolence).  They are also ava
ilable for counseling, visitation, and to address any other concerns that arise within the church.  The Pastor appoints the Deacons. They also serve as extended arms of the Ministry of the Pastor, also known as armourbearers.

Men of Grace

The vision of the Men of Grace is to see lives changed through the gospel  of Jesus Christ and to see men mature in the Lord, become committee and faithful
men.  The Men of Grace Ministry is designed to equip, train, and instruct, and mentor men to be good soldiers of Christ.
Men meet the first Saturday of each month. Past meetings have included special speakers, breakfast seminars and group discussion. One of our annual goals is to gather the men together for retreat, a time where key and timely topics are featured. It is at this retreat that the men are able to "advance" in God through intense fellowship and teaching of the Word of God, and also gain a greater understanding of their roles as husbands, fathers, and friends.

Ladies of Grace

Women need to be encouraged and taught by other women. This is addressed in the book of Titus 2:3-5.
“The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.”

The older women need to be encouraged to live holy lives and the younger women need to be learning about good things as stated in the above scripture. This is the purpose of our Ladies of Grace ministry.
The Ladies of Grace will strive to meet monthly on the third Friday night of each month for fellowship, fun, food and a time of encouragement through bible study and discussion.  Yearly, there is a ladies retreat designed specifically to help ladies understand their roles in the home, church and the will of God.

Teen Ministry
Teenagers between the ages of 13 and 19 are one of the main targets of this ministry, as they are called to stand out and not blend into the world. The purpose of this ministry is to teach this age group who they are in Christ by walking with Christ-like character.

This ministry is designed to provide in-depth leadership training for teens, preparing them for their future. Our goal is to teach leadership and responsibility as they are exposed to positive role models who provide a positive influence in their lives.  Equally important, we focus on training all children the way they should take in this evil generation.

 Ushers Ministry
This is a ministry of men and women who have committed themselves to serve the body and ensure smooth running of the weekly services as well as keeping order in the sanctuary. The purpose of this ministry is to enable each person attending our services to have a learning experience free from outside distractions.
